Hello,
I called our companies hp contract rep about getting a fos tape for
our system on monday. They said they would send that to us and we
would have it on friday.

Today someone called from hp and said they are no longer shipping
mpe 6.0 FOS. They are only supporting upgrades and he could ship me
6.5 if I wanted to upgrade.

I can't belive how much this sucks. It really puts a wrench in the works...

I was wondering, what's the legality of someone copying me a 6.0 FOS
tape and sending it to me? I have the 6.0 prod/subsys and the power
patch 2 tape. But for some reason I'm missing my FOS tape... And HP
won't send me a copy...

I'm still working on re-installing our HFS dir and getting java and a
few other things running. If I can't get someone to send me the fos
tape, how can I devise a workaround? Can I take the 6.5 version tape
and install the HFS from that? Are there a lot of changes between 6.0
and 6.5 that could effect that? What about 5.5 I'm pretty sure I have
a 5.5 fos tape in my library..

Any suggestions would be much appricated,

Thanks,
Gehan Gehale
