We had a situation once in which a single terminal tied to a DTC had the ENTER key stuck, and was overloading the system with CR's. Fixing the terminal caused the system to "unlock". With this situation, even a reboot did no good, because as soon as communications were brought up, the terminal would flood the communications and CPU on the system.

Hi all, I have a problem with a 947LX and am hoping that someone here can
shed some light. Users can enter "hello user.account" and their passwords
and will receive a few lines of the welcome message, but then the session
seems to hang, nothing else will happen. This is happening to PCs running
Minisoft, terminals on a DTC and the console, the system is responding to
pings so it probably isn't a network problem. If anyone can shed some light
on this it would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Darryl
