We use Groupwise (or Group stupid, as some of our users call it) and I noticed that some
of the lines from my posts also look odd when they post. I've started just using the
"carriage return" to prevent the problem, but don't know if that "fixes" it. I do know
that it can be very annoying to receive messages with the odd line-wraps, etc.

I had no idea my posts failed to auto-linewrap, except that sometimes when they are replied to the lines are very long and
truncated. I apologise to the List for thisw inconvenience.

My email client is Lotus Notes 4.5, which has some advantages and some disadvantages. On the plus side, it's not vulnerable to
many viruses or worms, compared to LookOut! especially. OTOH it's somewhat obtuse, and management of filters (agents)
and other advanced email features is not intuitive for me.

Does anyone know if there is an option in Lotus Notes to auto-insert line breaks?

I think (not sure) I can configure Lotus to use Word as the editor, but, wouldn't that cause the List as much trouble as it saves?
