Nas,
 One of the easiest ways to extend multiple serial connections is to put a
DTC at the remote location.  The one drawback is the cost of the DTC, but
you may be able to pick up a used DTC 16 from someone.  By using a bridge or
router with bridging enabled you can extend your LAN to the remote location
and then connect the DTC.  Depending on the cost of ISDN or Frame Relay in
your area a 56K or 64K connection should work great for printing.   With the
DTC at the remote location this allows you to remotely administrator the DTC
from the 3000.  Please feel free to contact me if you would like to discuss
