If you have MPEX, you can set a variable to the output to the VESOFT
expression PRINTOPREPLY directly in the job stream. In my copy of the MPEX
manual, there is an example on page 6 and other information on page A-12.

Otherwise, you will have to write a program that will invoke the
PRINTOPREPLY intrinsic for your requirement.

In a job stream, how do I send a message out to the console that will
halt the job until the message is replied to?
