James,
  I just went through this.  You do not have the 100 base T software
installed.  This is a separate product that support has to send you.  It is
not included on your machine unless you have support for the 100 Base T
product.

Do I have all of the necessary software?  Is it up to date?

I am currently using the 10Base2 interface as the default node
and I am trying to use an IP from the same C Class IP block.
When I run Validate this is what happens:
