Angel,

We implemented user logging on our critical production db's more than
ten years ago, and I have yet to notice any discernable performance
impact on our systems. I remember performance being a concern "way
back when", but the fears were never realized. The gains, however, in
the capability to easily recover data and to audit database activity
using the log files has far outweighed any potential negatives, in my
opinion.

 Hi world!

We are currently running all our databases without logs (yes, I know..)
I am trying to convince those guys to start using them, however they are
concerned about the impact this may have on the performance... I would
like to hear about any experiences with log activation and any problems that
may have arised on production systems.

  Thanks in advance,

  Angel
