I would like to add my voice to those who have expressed appreciation for
the contributions of Jeff Vance to MPE and its loyal user community. While
I'm at it, I want to also thank vCSY in general for their continued efforts.
While many of us have publicly expressed our disappointment over the
demise of the HP3000, and anger over the foot-dragging with respect to
licensing and source code questions, etc, these people have soldiered on,
continuing to enhance and support MPE. I thank them for their dedication,
and their generosity with information in this forum. I am also grateful to
HP for making and keeping its commitment to provide both hardware and
software support for all these years following the November, 1991
announcement.
