You can change $US into $Cdn at the airport, in most hotels and in all banks
and trust companies. Most restaurants and shops in the vicinity of the
convention will also be happy to accept $US as will most taxis to and from
the airport.
 
However, the going rate in restaurants, shops and taxis is currently about
30%. Money change agencies and hotels are better at about 35%. Banks and
trust companies are best at about 37% but you won't find one open on Sunday.
 
Other than the banks and big hotels, I wouldn't expect anyone to be too
thrilled with a hundred dollar bill -- fifty seems to be the limit for most
places.
