There is a company in Dallas, TX which makes the adapter for the 9000
systems. Allegedly this card would be hardware compatible on the 3000
as well. Sadly, even if this were true, there are no drivers for MPE
for the card. HP is working on the drivers, but have no expected
completion dates.
 
HP will eventually OEM the cards and sell them itself.
 
Oh, the name of the company is "Interphase", I believe.
