      AB&C Group, a leader in Fulfillment and Response Services for over 33 
years, is growing. We are seeking a Systems Administrator to join our 
Information Systems team at our Ranson, WV office.



      Primary duties include:



      HP UNIX and MPE/iX Operating System Administration

      Configuration Management including patch installation

      Analyze system performance and recommend hardware changes

      Analyze and recommend UNIX system performance tools.

      Maintain system security.  Ensure all tape backups are stored properly 
off-site.

      Setup and review all system backups and restores.

      Perform TurboImage / Oracle Database Maintenance.

      Install and maintain updates for all third-party software.

      Analyze and maintain disk space usage including scheduled defrags.

      Maintain performance software - Lund and UNIX performance tools.

      Setup Batch Job Schedules.  Take professional proactive ownership of 
the system.

      Actively participate in MPE to UNIX/Oracle transition.




      JOB REQUIREMENTS:

      Key software knowledge:



      UNIX, MPE/iX, Security/3000, SUPRTOOL, Adager, Omnidex,

      Editors - Quad, Qedit, Edit/3000

      COBOL, SQL, Minisoft-ODBC, Quest-Bridgeware, Netbase-Vista, Taurus 
Warehouse, UNIX Performance Tools, Oracle Performance Tools.



      Other skills sought but not required skills:

      Ecometry MPE version, Ecometry Open Systems desired

      Order Processing & Fulfillment Applications knowledge

      Warehousing, Inventory and Distribution Systems knowledge

      People skills, including staff supervisory experience a plus

      Ability to communicate at all levels of an organization

      Xerox Production Printer knowledge.



      Salary range:                 $65,000 - $75,000
