I sent this out last week.  Since no one replied I decided to try once
more.

Fellow listers,

Ever since we upgraded to 6.0 pp2, last Sunday, I've been seeing the
following message on the console every time the 'syslog' job is launched:

3:18/#J474/286/Nov 21 03:18:32  syslogd: hostname lookup error: Illegal
seek
3:18/#J474/286/Nov 21 03:18:33 mav syslogd: restart

Any Ideas?
