I don't know if this idea will apply to you, but others might benefit.
Have you considered using report distribution direct to PCs
over the network? This won't stop all printing, but it will reduce it.
 
There are several software packages that do this, for example
** Plug Alert
Opin System Reveal C/S
We will be installing this soon to reduce the troubles of paper distribution.

You could also use email to distribute reports.
 
Another idea:
If the volume of data is large, but the number of distribution points is
small, you might consider making CDs with CD-R. This cost has come down
greatly.
