According to the gdb manual section 5.1.3, catchpoints cause the
debugger to stop for certain kinds of program events, such as
C++ exceptions or loading of shared libraries. Use the catch
command......

catch throw
catch catch
catch exec             only HPUX
catch fork             only HPUX
catch load [libname]   only HPUX
catch unload [libname] only HPUX
