I am slow this morning, sorry. I am not able to follow your explanation
of the problem. Could you be more detailed and also post the actual
error messages?

Denys

Subject: [HP3000-L] Copying DB with ADAGER with SQLDBE attached.

Hi all,

First off apologies, I'm a noobie when posting to this listing so
hopefully this should work fine.

Right now my question. Can DB's be copied with ADAGER with an SQLDBE
attached ? Reason being I've been having a few problems with a couple of
systems whereby if the SQLDBE is attached the copy fails telling me that
the destination name exists when it doesn't. If I detach the SQLDB from
the turbodb and try the copy again it works ok, if i then reattach then
I get the same copy problem, reagardless of what I call the destination
name.

Some info to start with we're on PP1 of 7.5 with the Adager version
020115.

Many thanks,

Nige...
