Different sources of supply will require different methods of diplomacy,
sanctions or force to end the supply.

I have been convinced by the evidence provided so far that Saddam both
openly, payments to suicide bombers in Isreal, and covertly supports
terrorism. If over a decade of sanctions and international diplmoacy has not
deflected him from his pursuit of WMD, then nothing short of force will do
so. I beleive he will, if he has not already done so, supply terrorists with
these weapons to use against my country and our allies.

It is clear now that, barring some miracle, the UN is impotent to
participate in this process and has become little more than an outdated
debating society. Its time has past.

I will not risk insulting you by stating the real reasons I believe the
French goverment is fighting against this war. Other than to say Fred Whites
accusations about it being all about business may be directed against the
wrong country.

After Iraq we will face the next challenge, probably Iran. I think there is
a strong chance for a diplomatic solution with Iran as they will be feeling
the heat from their own population in a way that Saddam is not.

Anyway, as you say, we agree on the goal and the strategy. Just not the
tactics.

Comments are my own, not my employer's... etc.
