Yes, but be sure *not* to tell HP support what you did when you call them.
They're just going to yell at you for ten minutes.

SYSGEN is going to syntax check and validate everything you do while you're
in SYSGEN. You give up all of that syntax checking if you edit the file
outside of SYSGEN. Who knows what you'll get as a result or whether it will
work or not?
