There are probably several causes, but one of my favorites is the spooling
queue has been globally shut down. Try:
OPENQ @
If a console message appears saying it has been globally shut down
(again), your HPSPOOL account or MPEXL_SYSTEM_VOLUME_SET "thinks" it may
have run out of disc space. I say "think" because the system may have
been fooled by something causing this condition, or something that makes
it appear as if this condition is really the case. Such as a Netprint 92
(or ESPUL) configured printer that has been, "SPOOLED SPOOLER OUT".
