I am at client's site and have found logging turned on all Image data
bases. The logs are switched twice a day and backups of the old log
files are made upon completion of the switch. The primary applications
are materials management and production management.

Partial backups are done Monday thru Thursday nights and a full with
everyone off the system is done Saturday night. A noon backup of the old
log files are also performed.

I come from the school of either using something like backpack or getting
all the users off the system and then doing full/partial backups. What
are you opinions of using the log files from image to cover the data
incase of loss due to whatever? How difficult is it to roll back the log
files into the data bases?

Bottomline - is the data safe?

TIA...
