DataExpress will extract the data and convert it to ascii files - however you
might find the Excel, dBASE, Comma or Tab delimited files to be more useful ...
in fact if this is an ongoing process and the application you want the data in
is ODBC compliant you can use the DataExpress/ODBCLink option to enable ODBC
access to all your files on the HP3000.

Query also allows you to dump a file ... the real question is why do you need
data on the PC,(what "application" will you be using with it? How much data is
there going be and how often will you have to get data? All of these can help
tailor a solution to your needs ..
