You don't; the default gateway MUST be on the local segment. If this new
gateway/router is more than one hop away, then your default gateway is the
box on the same segment as your 3000 that will route packets to that other
router. 

If there's no device on the subnet capable of routing packets via your new
route/router, then you'll need to re-connect your 3000 to a segment where
there is such routability.

If you have a PC on the same segment as your 3000, from a DOS prompt type
TRACERT 10.103.203.25 and whatever the next hop is - THAT's your default
gateway.
