Actually, if they are getting the Gulfstream G550, that one has a range
of about 6,500 NM, in the class of the Bombardier Global Express. With
that one, they should be able to make the trip with only one stop,
perhaps Thailand, Japan, Singapore or perhaps even Australia. I wonder
why the fascination with Gulfstream products, when Bombardier makes
excellent planes with longer legs and is/was a long time HP 3000
customer to boot. (Maybe that IS the reason. ;-) )
