   I hold your same position at NEORUG (Northeast Ohio).  We are all
dealing
with these same issues.  The reason most folks are planning to migrate
away
from MPE is that HP won't support it any longer.  Pretty sound
reasoning.
They think the risk is too high to plan to stay with MPE over the long
haul.

I am the INRUG president, and I agree with your comments.  We were
lucky
enough to have George and Alvina give a full day presentation last
April on
migration.  Judging from the comments in the room, many people were
still
upset with HP for the EOL announcement.  Most people were still in the
planning phase, but are planning to migrate.  The biggest worry was can
it
be done before 2006.
