Denys makes a good point:

My 927RX with 128 MB takes about 10 minutes to come up. The 918DX with 128
MB about 5-6 minutes. One NT Server with 256 MB memory - < 1 minute to
launch WinLogon, and about 4 minutes to finish starting all of the services.

The 3000 checks memory - and that's the most time consuming time in an
HP3000 boot -- with Windows NT, you can normally (depending on the BIOS),
stop the memory check and go right into the boot process.

Cheers,
Joe
