Greetings,
I and my cohorts are putting together a proposal for an HPe3000 team which
will (hopefully) focus on consulting opportunities related to the "e" in
HPe3000. By this I mean all the things the HP3000 can do that most people
either aren't aware it can, or don't have the expertise in house to do (like
all things POSIX programming, ODBC setups, or whatever). We already have a
well established Database(read Oracle/Informix), Web development, and MPE
Legacy Application support teams. I think our services need to keep up in
the MPE arena.

   So here is my request:

What if any projects would you consider outsourcing/hiring help with
related to the HPe3000. Is there a market for an INC 500 company who's
roots are HP3000/MPE. Is all this "e" talk just marketing or are people
really wanting to do this stuff on the HP3000. Is the HPe3000 just acting
as a data server (Vs a web server) for E-commerce. What about adding GUI
interfaces to legacy applications and/or putting them on the web? What do
you need?

Please reply privately and I'll try to summarize the results for the list.

RAT
