The most recent _HP Advisor_ is excellent.  EXCELLENT!
 
As for article references, you might peek at the May _Byte_ cover story
on Unix vs NT.  Yeah, it's NT, but anything fighting the Unix mindset is
interesting reading (yes, they talk about the standard APIs, the 3000 is
equally poised in that respect).  They do note the native GUI, plug-n-play,
device drivers, and other good points for NT.  The Unix side also focuses
on NT's questionable scalability, a point in our favor as well.
