You could try our DataExpress product ... It has several ways to get data
to a PC desktop and or even to a MAC desktop ... for Windows we also have
ODBC support.
 
 
A brief summary of features is as follows:

- data input from Image, Allbase, KSAM, MPE flat files or combinations

- Allbase and Image/SQL
- KSAM and MPE Flat files
- simple data dictionary facility for KSAM and MPE Flat files
- Cognos PDL dictionary support
- interfaces to Impromptu, MS Access, Powerbuilder, MS Excel and many
others
- supports serial link (hard-wired plus modem connections)
- supports winsock connections via lan
- supports serial or lan connection via WRQ PPL
