You will, at some point, begin discussions on the cost of licensing for
ORACLE...take very deep breaths, exhale slowly, and wear loose fitting
clothing.

In the event you have a large concurrent user base, then prior to your
discussions on ORACLE licensing, and at the risk of being accused on
insider trading, I suggest you invest heavily into the "Chesebrough
Ponds" corporation (A division of "Lever Brothers") - they are the
purveyors of "Vaseline".

Have a great week!

Subject: [HP3000-L] Conversion info?

I wanted to know if anyone would be willing to share some information on
converting off the HP3000 and coming up on the new Amisys Advance
product. I am curious in the cost of hardware, the software, training,
etc. I am trying to help out with some considerations for my
management, in case they need any assistance from me since I have been
with companies in various stages of conversion to the HP9000 platform or
other platforms.
