Some confusion has arisen surrounding a new product entitled the "HP
World '97 CD". Please allow us to state the facts and clarify what
is available and from whom.
Interex and Eloquent Inc. jointly initiated a project to provide a
multi-media product based on content from this year's HP World.
Interex provided the opportunity to record a series of sessions from
the conference. Eloquent produced the software that runs
simultaneous audio and video of the speakers, text of the speeches,
and the speaker's slides on a CD-ROM. After the conference, Eloquent
and Interex contracted with a telemarketing firm called Market Makers
to market the CD. There is only one multi-media product that
contains 20 sessions recorded at HP World '97.
The confusion seems to have arisen from the use of multiple methods
to market the product: sales at HP World by Eloquent, telemarketing
by Market Makers, and additional advertising by Interex. Regardless
of who is marketing this product, there is only one version.
We sincerely apologize for any confusion or concern this may have
caused. If there are any additional questions please direct them to
Ralph Dickman, Director of Marketing at Interex,
([log in to unmask], or 408-743-4606).
