VSCLOSE will dismount the volume set; and (you guessed it) VSOPEN
will re-mount it. All volumes in the volume set will show up as LONER
volumes while the volume set is closed.

Oh wise and experienced listers:
We have to reload our 6Gb system volume set (one of the drives is
making some noise, and we're replacing it before it dies), and our
CE said he thought it would be easier to dismount our 12Gb mirrored
volume set before beginning the whole drive replacement/reload
process, then remount it when we're finished.
No sweat, but I've only mounted the mirrored set once (over a year
ago!), and all this Oregon rain has made my memory rusty!
Could any of you who've done this recently please oil my memory or
otherwise provide a few tips for me?
TIA!
