We recently performed a security penetration test on several of our
servers, including our final HP e3000 (running MPE/iX 7.0). The
penetration test was able to connect to the HP through port 17185, which
from what little documentation my boss and I were able to find points to
"soundsvirtual".

If this port is not defined in my services.net.sys file, why is this
port open and has anyone else encountered this?

Regards,
