On our local area network we have a LaserJet as well
as a HP3000 MPE/iX 6.0.

The LJ is configured on the PC's (W2K) and works fine.

How do I configure the LJ as spooled printer on the 3000?

I know NMMGR and SYSGEN on the 3000, but couldn't find
the chapter in the HP manual (which one?) where this is explained.

Subject: Re: [HP3000-L] Sherlock Holmes and the origin of life

This was voted the most popular joke in Britain in 2001. Wirt has
cleaned it
up I think. The original last line was reported as:

"HOLMES. Watson you dolt, someone has stolen our tent".

Its fame supposedly came from the repeated telling by a MP at every stop
on
the campaign trail. It is good to see that some pols have a sense of
humor.
I prefer 'pick pockets' who steal me blind with a smile :-)
