Since you know PCL, this should be easy for you.  Simply create a flat file
with the desired escape sequences in it, and that file can function as an
environment file.  Perhaps there are other listers who have some environment
files to share...

We are currently upgrading our hp 3000 system and are changing from a line
printer (2608) direct connect to a laser jet 8150 as a line printer on our

Example On the current line printer (2608) we have environment file to
create a 4 up and 2 up format. Is there an environment file to create the
same effect on the Laser jet.

My experence on the HP with environment fiels is limited but I have a
extensive knowledge on PCL code.

Where are the envirnoment fiels stored.
