Subject: Re: [HP3000-L] <Plug> HP 700 Series Terminals
I'm not sure if I have to defend my plug on the HP 700 series terminals
but...
Hmmm, from $150.00 to $225.00...that seems a tad high for a bass boat
anchor. 8-)
(its a boat anchor unless you need them)
BlueLine services has many terminals from 35.00 and up... Thanks Gary (get
your own <plug>)
Way to go...I was having the exact same thought...they should be selling by
the pound..
(it could take up to 2 hours to refurbish one of the terminals, the price is
more reflective of labor and the warranty)
Sell by the pound ? One of these days your PCs might all get infected and
you'll by dusting off your DTC's and buying terminals by the TON (or
bass-boatload)
(thank you)
Who has terminals that do not have 30 years of stuff burnt into the screen?
I am partial to the green:)
(we do, we still purchase NEW tubes that we replace when needed)
We all know that 3000 stuff is more than 15+ years old so yes all HP 3k
servers & peripherals are boat anchors. I'm just trying to keep this 3000
hardware alive, I know there is a need out there to user that are still on
it.
