We have used PowerBuilder successfully from v3 to v5(haven't got v6
going yet but will soon) against Image/SQL databases for years now.

ODBCLink/SE is the ODBC interface to ALLBASE/SQL on an HP3000.
Image/SQL then interfaces to ALLBASE on the server. Your
client(Powerbuilder) thinks it's dealing with an ALLBASE table, but
really it's an ImageSQL database.

So far we run only 16-bit PowerBuilder apps using the old HP
supplied ALLBASE ODBC drivers. I've tried these PowerBuilder apps
with the ODBCLink/SE-16 drivers and it does work(with some timing
problems) .
From what I hear, the ODBCLink/SE-32 drivers don't have these
problems and should work fine with PowerBuilder 6, 32 bit.

Bob.
