My understanding is no, it is not possible to have both Jumbo and LFDS in the
same database.
I am also very familiar with the issues of the XM and large files (where adding
more memory can hurt performance), so at this point I am going to stay with
jumbo, at least until I can ask Kevin C. a few questions.
Has anyone looked at heavily accessed (writes) jumbo vs. LFDS and XM
performance? I am certainly in a position to do some performance analysis of
the situation, but I would rather not impact the customer, both in the time it
takes to convert and any negative impact LDFS may add.
As for a response to Alfredo's questions, I am going to take my time and put
some thought into it, then I may ask for Adagers 2003 version.
Regards,
-Craig
