From my conversations with a couple reporters on this
subject, the truly outrageous part is not just that HP
"pays the police" (Sacto task force and for all I know
etc.), it's that HP made significant contributions to
one or more law enforcement agencies, and was then
essentially allowed to have their renta-cop PROVIDE
"GUIDANCE" TO THOSE AGENCIES ON WHO TO GO AFTER....
Something really wrong with this picture...
