I claim ignorance about OV/DTCMGR. I have DTCMGR running and use it to
configure the DTCs but not the LAN connection. I do know that I did not
have to reconfigure the DTC.

In NMMGR we had to create the new LAN. This LAN has now has 2 Links, one
to the BT100 and one to the DTSLINK on the old I/O port. The latter
includes the DTC the former the Network connection.
