If a record is deleted and the location is re-usable, the EOF doesn't go down by 1 so the EOF is really a high water mark. I can't find anything that you can look at to indicate that the high-water mark is X but the available entries are Y. Does anyone know if this information is easily available?

That would certainly be a logical place to keep it.

I just added a summary of the raid-ldev-1 options discussion to the FAQ last
night.

Seems there was a problem with the logon access to do updates; it's fixed
now... So if anyone would like to log in (or register and log in if you
haven't registered before) feel free. The whole project was designed so that
it wasn't dependent on just one person to do all the edits :-)
