I know this isn't what you were asking but just in case, I thought we
had a bad serial card on a HP2563B that had worked for years, and it
turned out that the configuration had somehow changed and all I had to
do was set the baud rate and such to what it was before and I was back
in business.

 Does anyone out there have a Serial Port for an HP2563B printer they
want to get rid of ...Cheap??
