Everyone, I am sure I am missing something. I
have never had luck with remote console support.
I can dial in, the modem answers. I can then
watch everything on the console, but I can not
type anything. I try hitting break or escape with
no luck. What am I doing wrong.

It would be useful to determine if you have a problem with the
"remote port" acting on the break or the modem transmitting break
to the port. Can you hook a terminal to this port to see if
you see the same problem ? After you duplicate this problem on
the modem, can you disconnect the modem, connect a terminal and
then see the same problem ?
This does not sound like a Known Problem (kp) that I am aware of,
but I would recommend the current GR "CON" patch be installed on
all systems.
