Don't get me wrong. I'm not trying to attack or pick on Mark's statement.
I'm merely asking the question, "Is this a US problem (as I frequently
hear - being in the US) or is this a global problem." I don't see "only"
either and I don't believe Mark is implying, one way or the other. It
simply begged the question in my mind about the rest of the world.

I do NOT see the word only anywhere nor did he in any other way imply the
problem did not exist elsewhere.
Jeff is in the US so Mark refered to the US problem.
