We use CISCO to dial in to our network using SecureId to insure security.

The DTC left has no modems on it.

The "internal" modem is only used for myself and HP personnel (with an occasional third-party vendor) to dial in for System Diagnostics--in other words, we could probably do OK without a dial in direct to the HP. In fact, policy is such that using a direct modem is *highly undesirable* from the security policy point of view.

The goal of removing all of our DTCs from service was prompted by opportunity, but driven by the fact that these particular DTCs are no longer supported by HP. Besides, you should see the stacks of cables we removed from under the floor!

We are planning to take our DTC off our 929KS-020 and want to know if there
are any considerations to eliminating the connection?
