I believe there have been many such postings, and I believe also there is a
convention for posting non-HP3000 related items.

This posting seems to follow the necessary convention of placing OT in the
topic. If you don't like to read off-topic material, I would suggest you
exercise your privilege and fingers and use the DEL key.

And, if you feel inclined please reference the archives for entries on the
subject of off-topic discussions. There you will find a very well written
post by Wirt on this subject.
