After my recent misspelling of the surname Santayana, I did a spell check on
Santayana. I don't know what I expected to find but the results were
interesting. Santayana is, according to Spell Check, incorrect. The
alternatives presented were:

Santa Ana - A Catholic Saint, a weather condition including ionic winds, a
city, a Mexican General/President
Ramayana - An ancient Indian Sacred text
Antaean - Something to do with coding as far as I can tell
Antenna - A device for getting better reception of waves
Sateen - An imitation satin (apparently used mostly for bed sheets)
Santana - A Rock and Roll legend

I think this is an interesting mix. does this say anything about the people
at M$. Does it mean that M$ employs Indians, rockers, coders, TV and Radio
users and people seeking cheap thrills but no philosopher/poets? Don't get
me wrong I have nothing against Indians, rockers, coders, TV and Radio
users and people seeking cheap thrills (especially not those seeking cheap
thrills, which by the way speaking of rockers is one of my favorite albums.)

I am in fact drawing no conclusions or making any value judgments. As they
say in the newspaper game, I don't make this stuff up I just report it.

The opinions expressed herein are my own and not necessarily those of my
employer.
