Hello Folks @ 3000-L,

Re: POSIX: (or maybe MPE:?) ftp issue

The only way I know to pull this off for a MPUT inbound file transfer to the
HP e3000 is to modify the BLDPARMS.ARPA.SYS file which will have an impact
on EVERY file transferred inbound with FTP.

You could modify the line:

;REC=-144,,F,ASCII;DISC=204800

and now EVERY file that is put to the HP e3000 will have a default of 144
bytes fixed ASCII unless a user specifically specified on a PUT command a
different ;REC= parameter.

I hope this helps.
