I'll speak for Joe :-) I just happened to get 61 e-mail messages, about
75% from 3000-L. I can only check my e-mail in the evenings as my laptop is
in use during the day at the show.

I can try and issue cancels on the Usenet side but as Jeff said - short of
going to a moderated list (and we are NOT doing that!) there's nothing we
can do short of what we've done already.

Also, as Jeff said, our SPAM rate is extremely low compared to other lists
and usenet newsgroups. Be grateful for that - it could be higher --- MUCH
higher.

(Funny - Jeff and I talked about this in the smoking room at the bar last
night a bit :)

This is your best defense - use your DELETE key. It does work wonders :)
