We installed MPE/iX 5.5 on our 967 on 26th April; last Friday I got
round to testing inbound telnet, using Minisoft 92 for Windows as the
terminal emulator, and worked with it all afternoon without problems.

However this morning (Monday!), the 967 stopped with a system abort
1348 as I was trying to upload a file, which was something I hadn't
tried on Friday; I am sure I was the only telnet user on the system.
We have the PTDEDF6A patch which Jeff mentioned, but not
PTDEDL9A referred to by Cas Caswell on 8th May.
What I was doing may have no connection with the system abort, of
course, but until HPRC have analysed the dump, I shall suspend my
telnet trials.

Go carefully out there
