I should have mentioned that there are a couple of minor errors in this
intrinsics document.
1) Table 3 Supported Date Formats describes Date Type Code #4 as follows:
Date
Type Storage
Code Type #Bytes Explanation Sortable? Y2K
ready?
----- ------- ------ --------------------------------- ---------
----------
[...other items snipped...]
4 integer 4 Upper 23 bits: #year since 1970 yes yes
bottom 9 bits: day of the year.
(analogous to the existing
CALENDAR format.)
Please note that it should read "Upper 23 bits: #year since 1900"
2) The description of the HPDATEFORMAT intrinsic lists the valid
FormatElements. Formats WW and ZWW are described as follows:
WW Week of the year (01 to 53).
ZWW Week of the year with leading
zero suppressed (1 to 53).
Please note that in both cases 53 should be 54! (I happen to be acutely
aware of this particular issue as a result of participating in
http://www.year2000.com/y2kcurrent1.html )
