If bugs do surface, quite often you can get patches from the HP Response Center
to take care of them. But eventually (no time soon), you will have to upgrade.
And you will have to upgrade in order to take advantage of new features. And in
some cases, these new features provide solutions to existing limitations that
you will never see a "patch" for. I am ready for 6.5 when it comes out (I am
also on a 927). I replaced my HB-IB system printers with serial printers and now
nothing uses the HB-IB card.
